Listen to crack the shutters by snow patrol when you read this
“Crack the shutters open wide I wanna bathe you in the light of day. And just watch you as the rays tangle up around your face and body, I could sit for hours finding new ways is to be awed each minute ‘Cause the daylight seems to want you Just as much as I want you!” you sang along to the song playing in the car. Isaac was driving, one hand on the wheel and the other was in yours, weaving through your fingers. You looked out the window, resting your head back against the seat. With all of the sacrifice drama going on back at home, you decided it was about time Isaac and you got away for a weekend. After many hours of pleading your parents finally let you have the keys to the lake house for a couple days.
A few hours later you had arrived at the lake house and settled into the master bedroom. You two were currently laying on top of the bed, listening to music. Isaac was playing with your hair while you traced his jaw line with your finger. “hey.” Isaac whispered. You looked up to meet his eyes and smiled, “hey.” You responded. “Wanna go for a swim?” he whispered, watching your lips. You nodded and got up, saying that you’ll meet him there.
Isaac stood waist deep in the water when you got down to the lake, looking up to smile at you. You suddenly got very self-conscious in your black bikini but brushed it off. You kicked off your flip flops and pulled your hair into somewhat of a messy bun and got into the water, wading over to where Isaac was waiting. His torso twisted as he walked to you slowly, wrapping his arms around your waist. You only came up to about the middle of his chest so he bent down to kiss you slowly, pulling you into a deeper part of the lake. You couldn’t touch the bottom so you jump a little and wrapped your legs around his hips.
You pulled away to breath, resting your forehead on his chest. “I love you Isaac.” You whispered, barely audible. “I love you too, Kenzie.” He said back peacefully.
